Novitane® belting can endure knives, oil, dirt, solvents, and parts with rough edges over much longer periods of time than other elastomers. It is made from a specially-formulated compound that was developed using cutting-edge polyurethane research for maximum strength and abrasion resistance. It features an extremely long life, and has no plies to separate, which reduces tracking problems and contributes to belt longevity. Novitane® can be hot air-welded by hand, allowing for easy emergency repairs which save time and costs. It’s available in two types, the LMT and HD series, and in a variety of tension ratings and thicknesses.
